Bearing in mind the rush in which the fled took place, the Temple missed the statue of the Buddha. To acquire the one was not possible in the Europe. In 1934 the representative of all Russian refugees in Yugoslavia contacted the Japanese Ambassador to Rumania and pleaded for help. Soon, the bulky parcel from Tokyo arrived to Belgrade. Along with the Buddha statue many articles necessary for conducting the service were also presented. On that occasion (25.03.1934), a special ceremony was held. |
Among many distinguished guests and visitors of the Temple, a mention should be made on a visit by Kalmyk Princess Nirjidma Torgutska. |
