1935: The Reconstruction of the Temple
The temple was in fact a small masonry structure which could hold a hundred to hundred and fifty people. In 1934 a permission was granted as to make it a bit more spacious (additional 38 sq.m). However, the calculations showed that it would be quite costly and the Kalmyks could not afford it.  At the end it turned out that proposed reconstruction was in fact just a minor modification which was carried out according to this plan in 1935. (modifications are marked in red)
